デザイン・製造ともに英国製
本体とキャップにはエンジンターン加工を施しており、これはジュエリー、時計、ペンに精緻なギヨシェ彫刻を施すための伝統的な技法です。この彫刻技法により、クラシックな外観と手に馴染む質感が生まれています。
本ペンに用いられているパターンは、2022年に製作したQueen's Platinum Jubileeペンと同一のもので、ペンを回すと、その気品あるパターンが光をあらゆる方向に反射して輝きます。

1948年11月14日生まれのCharles Philip Arthur George Windsorは、Queen Elizabeth IIとPrince Philipの長男です。2022年9月8日の女王逝去に伴い、それまでPrince of WalesであったCharlesは、グレートブリテンおよび北アイルランド連合王国の国王となりました。また英連邦(Commonwealth)の首長ともなり、Commonwealth realmsを含むAustralia、Canada、New Zealandなど、他14か国の君主にもなりました
彼は英国史上最高齢での即位となり、73歳で戴冠を迎えます。1660年から1685年まで在位したCharles II以来、「King Charles」を名乗る初めての国王となります。
